David Guetta, Teddy Swims och Tones and I låter kanske som en rätt märklig kombo på papper – men Gone Gone Gone visar varför oväntade samarbeten ibland är ren popmagi – i alla fall när stjärnorna står rätt. Guetta skruvar upp euforin, Teddy levererar soulsång som om hjärtat precis spruckit, och Tones and I glider in med sin karakteristiska röst som en perfekt kontrast. Resultatet? En låt som känns lika mycket nattklubb som efterfest i känsloregistret. Undertecknad tycker det är svårt att försöka synka Bluetooth-högtalare så att de spelar samma låt samtidigt på ett ungefär i alla fall – de här tre popgiganterna synkar känslor, beats och dramatik på millisekunden.
